Default Leather interior?!?

Am I mistaken or do you have to buy a touring 350z to get leather interior?? When I was doing the build thing on nissans website it appears that you cant get leather on any version below the touring! I want leather in the performance model damn it!

Can a dealer hook me up??

Yes, you can only get a factory install with the Touring model.

And yes, a dealer can hook you up. You can order the factory seats and have them install the seats. Or you can get the seats elsewhere. If you use the search, you will probably find dozens of threads discussing this exact thing.

I'm having leather installed on my Enthusiast this weekend. Katskin sells a kit for the Z. You are correct, only the Touring has leather. It's not even an option on the other models. I think the thinking at Nissan was that the cloth seats are more beneficial in a sports car. With leather, you can slip around on turns. Even the top of the line Track model doesn't have leather.

Never really like the look of the aftermarket leather seats. Looked and felt really cheap in person. Doesnt even feel like leather.

I depends on what company makes the leather. I had leather put in my 2002 Maxima and the dealer said it was nicer than the factory leather. I agreed. I know Katskin makes good leather interior.

Classic Soft Trim also makes good leather seats. I'm very pleased with my black perforated leather seats.
