black is the sexiest color man... go for black. Just get a good wax like Blackfire or Zaino to make it have that "wet" look. i was originally goin for PPW, but after black, i wouldn't trade it in for any other color. Besides, almost everyone on this board has SS or CS anyways

Super Black, Daytona Blue, and Chrome Silver were my final three --track model. CS was what I ultimately picked, but SB owners will get the girls--this color on the Z just oozes sex appeal. Meh, at least my car can stay clean for 3 weeks vs. 3 days for SB owners. **At least it's still a Z, right guys??? I'll go beat my drunken self now for choosing such a feminine light color for my *cool* car.

My 2¢...

I don't obsess about my black finish because to me, the mechanicals are far more beautiful than the looks. This car's about driving, not washing IMO.

At 8 months old, my black roadster has lots of swirl marks and a few dings, but I still like the black. The blemishes are hardly noticteable from normal viewing distances, and the same goes for minor amounts of dirt. It stays dirty for days at a stretch, but people still come up and ask about it.

Many here will cringe, but when I get around to it, I clean it with brand X car wash solution from Target and wipe it down with cotton terry cloth towels. I'm thinking of laying down 6 layers of Zaino, but only to shorten the subsequent washing times, not to end up with a mirror finish that will take hours per month to maintain.

I think that black, when clean is just outstanding. But you know, anytime I see a Z, no matter what color it is, if it's clean it looks great.

Here's mine today after another coat of Zaino.

I don't want to hijack the thread, but it doesn't take that much time. After you have a couple of coats, a coat every six months or so is all you need.
