Default Tein S-Tech owners, please read

Had a quick question for those who lowered it.. especially Tein S-Tech Owners:

When you first installed it did you hear any spring squeek when going over a speed bump or any bumps in roads?

I'm getting this weird squeel.. At first I thought maybe a bolt wasn't tight enough but they all seem to be intact.. only thing I can think is they need to settle now?

Any comments?

I just looked again and noticed that when you open the hood, the main nut in the middle - you can't see the treading. So the nut isn't as tight as it could be. The passanger side is deeper in, and the thread is more visable.

Is it possible this is what is causing the sound? It' feels like a bounce, and has a squeeky sound whenever I go on a speed bump, but so far I haven't heard it at any other time..

Yes you should see the tread on the main nut.It might be the culprit.

Alright cool. I can't find my 19mm socket so it's going to have to wait till tomorrow.. Hopefully that will fix the problem.

Also, the car seems much lower, but I've only driven it about 50 miles. How many miles or so does it take for the S-Tech springs to completely settle?
