Default My Car is in the inventory

Looks like the inventory is working after all. What does it mean again when your car is on the inventory? Means its actually there, or its on its way there..

My car showed on Inventory 8/30/02 and arrived at dealer 8/31/02 Sat. delivery. I'm only 40 miles from Port Elizabeth, NJ. Could be tomorow if Harrisburg, NY is not that far.

My question too..my car showed up in my dealer's inventory this morning...YES!!!..However, I know that they have been showing up in inventory before they actually get delivered to the dealer. I'll try to find out today what the delay time is. Finally a from Pat.

Pat,

They must have already loaded your car for PIO's, so the strike didn't affect you. I would guess that your car is on a truck today if it's in inventory. I'd be hanging out at the dealer for a day or two if I were you. It's just a couple hours up 405 for you.

Good luck!

Kevin

Three cars showed up on my dealers' inventory on 10/2, the date I was given for delivery. Two were actually there, but not mine. My car did show up the next morning at the dealership. I have found that whenever the Nissan website shows cars in dealer inventory, at least in Alabama, that they have been delivered.

Me salesman called me yesterday to tell me that they were unloaded 2 Z's from the truck. They showed up on Nissan's dealer inventory today. So I guess it depends on where you at.

Talking Mine is now in inventory as of today

I have had the VIN for a couple of weeks. The car was listed in the dealer's inventory when I checked this morning. It looks like it will be a few days earlier than the 10/22 date that I was given.

I can hardly wait.....

GREAT NEWS EVERYONE!!! Looks like we are the second wave! Talked with my dealer this morning. He said if it showed up on NNA inventory that it is on a truck and should be in the dealership by Monday or Tuesday...Just in time for me. My wife was ready to throw me, the clear bra, car cover, key chain, license plate frames, hats, signed books, press kit, magazines, photo album, and Hot Wheels car, out of the house

Congratulations..... Hopefullyl you will have the car within 7 days depending on how far you are from Port Elizabeth, NJ.. My car never showed up on Dealer inventory and still hasn't... Does that mean I never got my car?? (which now has 1100+ miles on it in 2 1/2 weeks)

Good Luck.. the wait will be worth it..

My dealer doesn't have on-line inventory, but he just called me to say that my car is now scheduled to arrive 10/9 at the dealership. Yesterday it was still showing the 18th. He said it left the docks via rail on the 1st.
I AM SO PSYCHED!!!!!
I don't know if I'll be able to sleep between now and next Wednesday.

I am told there are no Z's sitting on the ground at the west coast ports...which means that if the car is not delivered, it is sitting on a ship offshore...waiting.

Cool

For once someone is watching over me Thank you Lord I was sure I would be still floating by next October

Yes, this is my original preorder. None of the other so-called 'availables' worked out. Dealers were charging too much for any car that was a preorder drop out. Now that there is a bottleneck in the system due to the port problems, God knows what they will be charging

i just talked to my dealer and they were telling me that my car is scheduled to arrive 11/22. I'm in Denver, CO and i guess Nissan is a few weeks ahead of schedule. Anyone have an idea on an actual arrival date estimate based on what you've heard? Also, based on my VIN number, it looks like i DONT fall within that Bose Service Bulletin that said any VIN between JN1ZA34E83T005616 AND JN1ZA34D63T104720 needs to have their AMP replaced. Does anyone have a Z in hand today and have a VIN that DOESNT fall within those VINs too? Am interested to know how well the Bose system (in the touring model) sounds with the replacement amp.
