My first run was 14.0 @ 101.25 mph the second was 13.95 @ 101.93 the 3rd was 13.92 @ 102.01, I wait for like an hour and my final run was 13.82 @ 103.09. the car run very smooth and hook very well (Base model). Oh and buy the way, all the people there seems like they were seeing a Ferrari or something,Wow!!. the car only have 2000 miles and the only mod is K&N.

Wow..nice times. I'm glad to see we can beat the magazine "profesionals". And the Z is now officially a 13 second car.

Sounds like good runs to me! I like the sound of that--13 second car. You know what I like better? 9 second car.

Congrats though! Hope you had a ton of fun!

GREAT RUNS!!!

Could you please give us all a recap of what the weather conditions, altitude, and humidity were when you ran. Also what was your launch technique.

Looking at the numbers you either were playing around with launch technique and/or the temperature was getting drastically colder.

I arrive aruond 7:30 PM and my firsts three runs was around 8:15 and temp. was 75 (thats what the car have in the trip Comp.)
Humidity and altitude I dont know, but my launch technique was warm the tires a little bit ( no water for the tires) and launch at 3000 rpm but not getting the foot out to quickly for playing with the spin, my last run was at 9:30 the car was more cool and the Temp. was 70 the launch was 2800 rpm. my best 60ft was 2.02.

Any other questions?

I can't even fathom 9 seconds...but when you hit it, I'm getting all the mods you did

I don't know, but I dont recommend to go lower than 30psi from a stock car, is not much difference, is all about the launch. but if you have a 400+ hp Z that is another story.

Cool Base model

No one made a comment about the fact that this is an open diff car. Which makes this info look really good.

Wonder how it would do with the limited slip.

If I was going to spend $120K on a street car I'd buy a Ferrari F360 F1. You can keep the Skyline.
