Default Downshift revs

So, what would be a damaging downshift rev? A couple of times i've hit 4K downshifting hard. Anyone have a thought?

i am not a pro but i think i figured the proper way to downshift. my theory is that just remember 2nd gears goes about 60mph. 3rd gears goes at around 90mph so on and so forth.. therefore at any time ~lets say going 45mph in 4th gear and you want make a right angle turn. i would brake while engaging the clutch. shift to 2nd and turn. as the turn hits the 'apex' i lever the clutch and throttle similar to getting into 1st gear from a complete stop. levering the clutch and throttle provides smooth acceleration through corners.

secondly if you want to do some high speed racing maybe from 6th gear @ 70mph. this will all depend on you. going into 3rd while rev matching=best result *watch for rev limiter and the fact whenever you engine revs high you are putting more wear as opposed to keeping it low.
