I was debating whether to get the strictly z or zee bracket. i went ahead and got z bracket. i noticed at the dealer they had a strictly z on one of the used cars. went back a week later. gone.

strictly z is too easy to steal!

Default but what about air flow blockage?

Here is my Z with the Z-Bracket.

you can buy it at courtesynissan.com
I've seen the strictlyz bracket w/ the tow hook, and it seems pretty flimsy. The zee bracket seems much more stable if I were to choose one.

I will hate drilling the front bumper. However, if you place the plate in front of the grill won't that block front airflow? I don't know too much about cars, but I would think this is a pretty important thing to consider for cooling and stuff....

Thoughts?

Thanks.

In a few days, I'll be facing the challenge of remounting my Zee-Bracket over a chrome mesh grille insert. I anticipate needing my Dremel tool to cut holes in the grille for the bracket's 2 fore-to-aft support rods and 3 hands to hold it all in place while I tighten down the bracket screws.
Is replying to your own posts a bad sign?

Installed my new Stillen mesh grille behind my existing Zee-Bracket today with no real complication. All it took was a little widening of two of the mesh openings to accomodate the fore-to-aft support rods, as anticipated. Dremel to the rescue once again.

I'll post a picture in a few days. Now it's off to Aspen for the jazz festival -- just the wife and I in the roadster. Like the Porsche ad says, there are only two seats for a reason.
