Question You guys friendly to G35 owners?

Do you guys wave or flash your lights at G35s? Or you do you not even bother because it's a completely different car?

For me i treat G35c as cousins. And G35 sedan i just not bother at all.

I think a lot of people that drive G35`s, especially the 4 doors, don`t even know the relation between their cars and the 350Z.
Only people that are more of the enthusiast type know the ties between the two cars I think.

Same goes for clueless 350z owners. But I don't even bother with G35 sedans, so I can't expect 350z owners to acknowledge sedan drivers either. Typically I don't bother when I see a Z since I rarely get love back. Only those with some sort of aftermarket parts wave back or "understand."

I'll nod or wave if I see the G driver's checking out my car (more of those owners aren't what you'd call enthusiasts, even though there's the same crowd among Z owners). But when a G owner tells me I should have bought their version instead, I always respond with, "But I wanted a real sports car."

I hear ya on this one. I used to look at everyone driving a Z to wave or nod or whatever. I dont think I ever got a response.
I went to a meet last week end where there were about 23 cars, half Z`s half G`s, coupes and four doors. Everyone was fairly friendly. But this was definately an enthusiast crowd. So I think thats the difference.

FairladyZ, actually, some G35 sedans are cheaper than some Zs.

I think the G35 sedan is the best value out of the three (G35c, G35 sedan, and 350z). A totally loaded G35 sedan would be in the low 30s. Where as a similarly equiped Z would be in the mid 30s. Also the perfomance numbers are still pretty close.

But in the end, I still ended up w/ a Z because it's COOLER. What a hypocrit (sp) I am. Haha

Nope bcuz I'd be waving to 20-30 middle aged women a day.

I only wave to Track option Z's and Z's with mods. Only wave to G35 coupes (never seen a sedan around here with an enthusiast driver) with mods, or an enthusiast looking driver. Even among the Z crowd, there are MANY MANY people who have no idea about their car.

i some times hang out with the local g35 club. i basically see the g35 coupe or sedan as a sister car. if i see a g35, i usually give the person a "wassop" nod.

I wave or give the thumbs up. I know a lot of G owners who are enthusiast just as much as the Z owners. We are pretty much bothers, we should all just say hi and get along. As it is we have to much hate from the S2000, M3, GS, IS300, STI, EVO, GT, Z28, etc.....

The G35 coupe is related to the Z???? WOW! I had no idea.

Just kidding............ hehe

I wave to the coupe owners, but waving to a G35 sedan owner would be like waving to a Maxima owner.

I don't care if you don't like the G35S, but please don't be rude to other members.
