The Z wins with looks, but I will need turbo or SC for sure to keep up with a cheaply modded Evo.

That Chrysler is a 3.2 liter V6 making a whopping 215HP. Doesn't look all that bad. Nothing compared to the Z though.

The crossfire is a piece in my opinion. Just a crappy slk in different clothing. I'm even really a fan of the styling. Now on the evo... Not a fan of the evo8's front bumper. Give me a Evo V. Now there was a bitching car. Although from what i have read on the evoforums its gonna have the 4g63 but no ACD or AYC. That sucks considering that is the heart of the car. It will have brembo's and recaro seats though. The 4g63 is quite an engine though so while the 350z might take it in straight line stock for stock, with about 1000 dollars of mods to the evo it would walk on the 350z. I would really like to drive one of those as soon as it gets snowy. That would be a lot of fun...

The Crossfire is an excellent looking car. I seriously wanted one but there were a few things that changed my mind on it.

The first is that it will only have 215HP. Sorry but that is not going to be enough for it to compete in performace. Or for me to tolerate it

Second, they are shooting to price it at around $35K..

Third, you won't see it available until 2004.

The 350Z wins....

It's styling is at least equal. (Opinions vary)

Its performance is superior.

And it is priced below it and is starting to be available now.....

Default I believe this to be the real comp for the Z

click on the 2004 Supra link at the bottom... either the Supra or the 4-5000GT... either one will be formidable and great cars. If they come out a couple of years from now as expected, and have similar numbers as they have had in the past compared to the Z (sacralidge forthcoming) I'll be tempted to own one..

Gawd...The white version of the supra is gorgeous. The other two is butt ugly.

The 4000GT is nice too...but $100,000...geez...hope the reliability is nothing like the mitshibishi 3000 GT....(doubt it if it's a 'yota)

The cross fire looked better in the concept pics....This one just looks like a pimped up mercedes front with a cougar or cellica back.

Agreed. Too bad I'm not patient enough to wait for one 350Z, NOW!

The STi hasn't officially been announced yet...I think Subaru is waiting to see how the Evo does first.

Mitsubishi is promising the Evo8 under $30k. However, I've read that they are only going to bring 4000 Evos (its always has limited availability) to the US so it won't really compete with the Z.

What I hope happens is that the STi will come here after the Evo...then the RX-8, then the new Supra....and then finally Nissan will bring the GT-R~ Wishful thinking though :P

Plus they will never release that car as is....Look at how low it is....stuff will be dragging all over the ground.

AutoWeek states the WRX STi will be on sale in June 2003. And the GT-R is being designed so that it can accomodate left-hand drive mechanicals. So, maybe not wishful thinking after all...
