That is correct. Other than that, it will not auto lock.

Geez, I'm on my second 350 and obviously need to read the manual.

if you read between the lines of the manual, the automatic shut-off feature is more of a battery saver for people who have forgotten to turn the lights off instead of a light-your-way-for-one-minute convience that some cars have now-a-days.

I left the owner's manual in the plane (southwest airline). I sat at the right aile by the window. Let me know if someone find it, lol!
Meanwhile I am sitting in my car reading with the engine off, door closed but unlocked. It has been more than 5 minutes, but nothing happened. It simply doesn't do anything, and today is memorial holiday.

LOCK your car with your keyfob. UNLOCK your doors with the keyfob but DON'T open the doors. Your doors will re-lock in a minute or two

You know what else the Z has that I didn1t know?. RAIN GUTTERS, I decided to wash my car today and wouldn`t you know it, it begins to rain so I just kick back and let the rain rinse the soap off and I `am watching the water run off the roof but not over the windows. If you run your hand over the area above the windows you will notice the rain gutter. I fugured I share.

Well its funny that I came across this discussion. Just the other day I found out the Z has an afterburner! If you press and hold in the button for the VDC for 5 seconds, the afterburner will extend out through the back, improving you quarter mile time significantly.
