Ok i'm dense. I read how the lights go off after 5 minutes, but I don't see anything about automatic door locks. Someone clear the fog from my brain!

Too bad the function doesn't operate like it works on luxury cars with the auto-on and auto-off feature in accordance with exteral lighting....

My 02 Maxima GXE automatically turns its lights on/off based on external light if left in the auto position. The thing is, I don't use it cuz I'm worried about it the Xenon it has lights turning on/off needlessly cuz of cloudy weather amd going under overpasses, etc., shortening their life.

It's always off or on for me.

It's beeps at you like it's gonna blow up if you try to get out with the lights still on though. I just can't resist taking the extra .5 seconds to turn them off when I try to get out and it does that.

NO, but I did read the entire owners manual through the night I brought my Z home.

FYI: the manual is online at Courtesy's site

aren't the autolights only for the HID models? And my car has never auto-locked on me yet...are you sure about that?
