Default Rearview Mirror buzzing/squeaking?

This isn't the passenger visor spring buzz - I have that also (lucky me:-). This is the homelink autoadjust mirror buzzing/squeaking/rattling. Anyone else hear this.

On the subject of noises - I also have a noise that sounds like it's coming out of the seatbelt retractor - definately near the door or door frame. Drivers side.

I thought I had this noise as well, but it turned out to be the headliner piece above the rearview mirror. Try pushing the headliner piece around a bit... it's where the wires from the rearview mirror go into the roofliner, it's a sort of hard material and I found that sometimes it squeaks against the windshield where they contact. If you push it around a bit softly you can kind of move where it contacts the windshield and possibly get rid of the squeak.

Hey thanks for the tip, I'll give that a try today. I think that's definately a component of it. What threw me off was that when I squeeze the mirror together bottom to top the noise goes away - but maybe it's the pressure on the headliner piece.
