I am looking for a Popcharger and found a good number of leads but the cheapest was $109 from Ultimate Z. Where have you guys got yours and was the shipping fast and reliable. I live in SoCal so any local leads for a good price is welcome. Jason what is your price for the Popcharger if I pick it up. Has anyone had problems with ordering from Ultimate Z. Also is the Popcharger a good purchase or go with a CAI. I was looking for a sound clip but could not find one. I've also read threads claiming the Popcharger sets off the check engine light is this true?

<-- purchased from Performance Nissan, spoke to Jenny. I vouch for Jason and Performance as the best bet for the pop charger.
Plus, the sound is amazing, and according to Jason, he didnt get a single CEL or SES light in 20K miles.

My vote goes with the short ram setup with a good heat shield (as the pop charger provides). Two reasons:
1 - The longer the intake stack, the less efficient airflow becomes. Yes, you get colder air, but not much colder than a well tuned short ram can provide. Think of it as breathing through a snorkel thats 1 foot long, compared to breathing through the same snorkel that is now 3 feet long (and I have done both in real life lol)
2 - The factory setup provides somewhat of a ram air setup. Locating an intake system just behind the air inlet provides cool air, and the heat shield provided by JWT works wonders. You can actually touch one side of it, and feel the difference in temp on the other side. The intake stays cool to the touch at all times, and I have ran this thing in 80F plus ambient temperature.
