Regular car wash and water. Use a cloth or sponge. No brushes.

If you must use an actual wheel cleaning product, make sure your wheels and brakes are cool before spraying it on. You can seriously damage your rims if you spray these harsh chemicals onto hot wheels.

i use mequilar's hot wheels or something....

I wash my car at 7am so it's nice and cool. The first thing i do is spray that stuff on liberally. By the time i spray all of them down, I am ready to hose down the first one. Very fast and effective. Cleaning all 4 wheels takes about 2 minutes.

i dont know if it is the best, but i use meguiar's hot rims also. cleans very easily.. also, very easy to get at all the brake dust in the inner portion of the rim. although sometimes if i forget to bring that stuff downstairs, i just use soap and water. comes just as clean with a bit more effort.

I've been using Simple Green Automotive Formula on mine. Spray on, hose off, and wipe off whatever's left with a soft towel. Real easy and gets the job done.

I have Zaino on my rims so I really don't need to use anything harsh. The Z-7 carwash works just fine for me. The brake dust and dirt don't really get a good foothold on my rims because of the Zaino.

Anyone use Mr.Clean's Autodry for their car wash yet? I want to know how long it takes to dry.

Soapy water and a sponge is all you need. Also, the cleaner you keep the wheels, the easier they are to clean. I clean the insides and outsides of my rims every car wash. They are still showroom clean. No dust here!

It takes about 5-10 minutes to completely dry, but I use, and you don't need to touch the car with a towel.. no spots either, 100% worth it. As for the rims, I use Meguiar's Hot Rims right now, but only because I've been too lazy to go to the store to get something better. The stock pads throw so much dust it's unbelievable.
