Default Should I trade in the Z for the 2005 G35?

I like my Z alot, but I also love the way the G35 looks. I wanted backseats when I got the Z, but I didn't want the G35 because of the way the interior looks. The G35's outside looks really nice and all the interior space and trunk space would be nice two. The Z has better interior I think because it looks more aggressive. I know the G35 is supposed to appeal to racey+luxury type people, but can't they do something about the interior. The interior looks like the interior in a old farts car. I like interior the has silver accents and colorful features. Not a solid one colored dash. The reason I am writing this is because I heard the news about the G35 getting more hp. The only thing that draws me away is that it only goes up in manual and not the auto verison. I know if you have a sporty car it should be manual, but try to tell the wife that and the traffic too. I mean I get stick of the manual quick when driving too work everyday with it. Also in my past manuals I have nothing but problems with stuff, like if you don't shift perfect the dam clutch will go faster then crap when you have to upgrade it to a racing one when going with the TT. I am wondering if you can help me out my telling me your comments. Do you think the power will go up also for the Z in 2005? Do you think they will offer it in both manual and auto? Thanks

Please post coments with your poll post. I would like to hear your opinions about the issue. Do you think the Z will actually bump up hp? Do you think it will hurt me to trade it in even through I have only had it maybe six months and still owe money on it?

I personally doubt you'll be able to feel the extra 15 HP...imho. It's not worth the money you'll loose with trade-in.

Marginal Costs > Marginal Benefits (a little ECON for ya)

Just get the mods off the car to get what you want. Unless the Z get 305hp then get the Z mods.

I bought the G35 for exactly the opposite reasons you did. I didn't like the 350Z interior, and I wanted a 2-seater..

I find it hard to believe you want to trade a car up for 15hp. That's Bhp, not RWhp, so it's probably like an intake mod. AKA not expensive. From a G35 owner, I think the new gauges faces look even MORE grandpa... Same with the minor aluminum changes.

Wait for the 05 Z, I have a solid feeling they will change it. I'd be more interested in that.

GT-R in 2007
That's one of the reasons I did a three year lease.

GT-R > 350 Z Hopefully!
GT-R > American Muscle Cars hopefully too

If you have to ask that question, then you should trade. The Z is a car that you either love or you don't. If you love it, you wouldn't be asking the question, so you definitely need to trade.

There's always gonna be something newer and better.. If you're not happy with what you have now, you won't be happy with what you trade it for a year from now...
