Just got my 07 Z last week. I'm 23, and I absolutely love this car. Not my first Nissan (had a 93' 240sx hatch), but I definitely love the power and handling this car has stock.
How does having the loan in your name make it more yours than if you had gotten a cosigner?
its a accomplishment/pride thing for someone who is very young, which doesnt diminish the value of the feeling

But it does not mean that it is any more his car. Not to start another chit storm, but it isn't his car anyway until that loan is paid off.

Not trying to speak for him, but I think the flag was because PerfZ didn't agree with TittieZ's comment. PerfZ feels that even if the bank paid for your car and holds the title, you actually own it.

yeah i agree. im just saying getting a loan without a cosigner is an achievement for someone young IMO, just because it means youve maintained a healthy credit for the short time you've had it, have a good paying job, etc. not debating you obviously, just saying. and i see what he meant now, thanks for pointing it out.

Not going down that road again, I'll just agree to disagree.

In before FineWine!
Your parents really helped you buy a brand new $30k sports car when you were 17? I hope you are an honor student with a full scholarship to a top university.
