20 with a 03 350z, had put 160k on a 2000 jeep grand cherokee between me and my dad in 11 years and the engine was about to die so i traded in and cashed out my funds while it was still worth a trade in value. Added a car payment buuuut somehow my insurance went down thank you 2 jobs.

It's funny that you say that because I actually pay for my gas, the car payment, and the insurance, and I'm not even on the insurance plan because the cheapest quote I received was 490. Basically if I crash the car I'm ****ed but once I pay it off I'll be paying for the insurance...

Parents these days. How many people older than 30 had their parents buy them everything? Too many spoiled kids with no brains running around today. It's no wonder their idiot parents can't figure out why $10k in credit card debt is a bad thing.
Haha, it's people like you that **** me off. I go to school about 25 hours a week and I'm hitting close to 38-40 hours of work every week. I work hard as **** for my car making minimum wage. I know how hard it is to work for money dipsh*t. Sure I'm not paying for rent, most of my food and stuff but I still go to school. If I had a full time job maybe I could pay for all that stuff but my parents don't help me at all on my car. It's different when you're rich you can ask mommy and daddy for everything but I physically get out there and work hard for my money so **** you...

I'm sorry I judged you.

Being car poor is much more acceptable than living off your parents.

"Why are you lower class people so gosh darn hostile?"

Are you saying that you have no insurance or are you just paying liability?

You sound frustrated. That is understandable since you a spend every dime you make on a car and your girl always has to pick up the dinner tab

Staff has been light lately. I've been putting in OT on the forums. I'm EVERYWHERE! It's exhausting, but it's got to be taken care of...

Haha, the insurance is in my parents name only and I'm not under their policy so the car is insured but I'm not and it sucks when people invite you to go stuff and you always have to say no because you know you need to save all of your money.

So, you are driving illegally? I know that some policies cover whoever is driving the car, but some only cover the names listed under he policy. So if you are not covered, what happen if you are in a wreck and insurance doesn't cover it and your parents get sued for all they have worked for. If you are not covered, then they are idiots for allowing you to take the car out of the driveway.

Is being car poor really worth it?
