I was only 16 when I gradumakated though. Then finished college 10 years later. True story, but then, five of those intervening years were spent working for Datsun, partly at the track, so I got out my car oats early.

I was 41 when bought new. I am 53 and might buy a Z convertible.

 

I love my Roadster. It's a tad heavy, but still fast with 310 to the wheels.

Well, "fast" is a relative term, but I should say fast enough for me. I want to go FI, but I'm weary of reliability issues. We'll see.

 

i hear ya. i said the same thing, had great bolt ons on my 350 and never broke 290whp. sold it to a buddy, got a z06 which i thought would be fast enough. nope within a year had heads, headers and intake on it

 

And that's the other thing... it never ends! The guy who owns the shop who does my Z mods/work, has an 06 Turbo Porsche. He owns the shop, and refuses to put his car on the Dyno. He knows all too well, the endless journey to "fast enough". Z06, is a beauty by the way!!!

20, I own a 04 roadster 6mt just got it, totally in love coming from an auto g35 owner

 

71 and bought my '03 in 2012. My third Z. The first two were 280's. Have put no less than 70k miles on each, and seriously shopping a 370 right now.

 

 

Oh how I do love that 2017 Nismo in white. That would be the 370 of my choice, but seeing as how my modifications are quickly surpassing the blue book value of my current 08, not sure I'm parting with it any time soon. Not to mention, such mods have transformed my Z into a different car all together. Good luck with your search.

Technically I didn't buy a Z first but I did get my first G35 back in 2013; I was 17 at the time. I kept my G for about 3 years and got rid of it for a Z last year and I was 20 at the time. But now I'm thinking about purchasing a G37 IPL or the new Q60S.

 

20 years old now but owned since i was 19

 

Almost 6 years later, still loving it. I had a hub and a wheel bearing go bad on my 04.5 Enthusiast(127,000+ miles), other then that just tires and brakes. Original tranny and clutch-and I can still get in and out of it.
Best car I have ever owned.
