Yeah... I hear ya! When I was 16, I was taking public transportation. Still comuting to work this way. Sure beats paying for gas.

 

Sorry to post again, just had a question for everyone:

Would you be more mad/jealous if a 15-16 year old kid had his parents buy him a Z or if he sold drugs and bought the Z himself?

I'd feel better if the kid was selling drugs for it. At least it shows he knows how to work for something...and has good sense of business...poor ethics/morals, but hey, I know some professionals with lower qualities.

I had a 8 year old Mustang GT soon after I graduated H.S....lots of fun, fast for the day...but no comparison in price. Cost only $2250. I had an older Bronco first...total heap....

If parents buy you a nice new Z when you're 16, that's pretty awesome. I won't do that for my kids, just because I think you need to learn what it feels like to drive a crappy car for awhile. Gives you better perspective.

 

30.............30 when I bought it. Man it sucks getting old!

 

35, 33 when I got it and my first car was a 81 Ford Fiesta in lime green!
