18 .. 19 in june

started college during senior year of high school (grad. 2008) .. finished college last december .. got first good paying job in february and picked up my 2007 350z last saturday (first "new" car)

 

hmmm...

24 - 25 in oct

got the 07 Z new with 10 miles on it

got it as a present to myself for putting up with the army's bullsh!t.

24....25 in August. After driving a beater through college and grad school and getting on w/ the DOJ...I figured a good paying govt job and lots of hard work equated to me splurging a bit on myself. Wish I woulda waited til the Z's value tanked however cuz I got my '04.5 for the same price you can get '07's now But I still love the ****er like it was my first born!

 

im only 17 years old turning 18 in july, planning on buying a Z right around when I turn 18. im also still in high school working 40-50 hour weeks at a detailing center and have been for the past 2 years and ive still managed to maintain a "B" average so i can one day buy my dream Z. I get and understand the frustration of the adults who dont think kids my age shouldnt buy Z's, but when you bank all your paychecks and take financial classes to learn how to manage your money and be financially smart, I think its possible for anyone. So yes, Im a 17 year old whos buying a Nissan 350z.

 

I don't have a problem with a 17yo buying a Z. It's just that they sometimes come on here and claim they are buying it themselves and posting stories about how crazy they are driving it etc. There is a kid at the drags that has an 08 roaster that talks trash yet he can only mange to turn 15's in the high school class. That is the kind of little *** hole that annoys me. As long as you don't lie or talk out your *** i don't think you will have any problems on this board.

First car: Chevy/geo Spectrum - paid $700. Not as hot a Z, but I pimped it.

Got a diploma in Major Auto Collision Repair / Paint Refinishing .. its a 2 year course but can do it in a year if you max out the credits per quarter

Took me just over a year since I was in high school for most of it .. college was from 8 to 11 each morning and high school was two classes from 1:30 to 3:30

september 07 - december 08

Now I got a job at a Dodge dealership as a full time painter starting at $15 / hour and get anywhere from 40 to 68 hours a week on average

it'll do for now .. (got my Class A CDL liscense in my back pocket incase I get tired of painting cars)

I bet you'll refer to your next certification as grad school? And the one after your doctorate?

Aight .. so if the school is a two year tech school and named "Griffin Technical College" .. what would you call it?

Was going to start an Associates Degree in Business Management this summer online. Does that not count as college either since its not 4 years?

If you say so .. All I know is I'm 18 and making 35K + a year at my first "real job" and all my friends are in school for another 3 1/2 years and will be 50K in debt by the time they get out

By then I'll be making 75K + as the main painter is now and will have a house, car, etc mostly paid off

 

51 .... 46 when I bought it! Paid for now~
