dont want to sound cocky because i'm not, but i wanna defend some of the younger folks in here, i'm 18, will be 19 next month and i plan on buying a Z
I started this summer with little money, however what i did have was invested into startin a landscapin buisness, my friend and i started it, we got hooked up with some good people and we pull in between 750 and 1000 each a week, i also work at a restaurant at night and on average bring home 150 a night. so in case you're wondering there still are a couple of us out there who work hard and bust our butts to get what we want. sure there are some who are spoiled and their mom and dads buy their car for them, but dont steriotype all of us that way. some of us are smart, we work hard, we invest smart and we get what we want, props to all of you out there who are like this

Allow me to help you here, so we older folk here can understand you..

I do not want to sound “cocky”, because I am not. I want to defend some to the younger folk on the forum. I am age 18 and will be age 19 next month. I plan to purchase a Z.

I began this summer with a little money, which I invested by beginning a landscaping business with my friend. We became involved with some good people and now we earn between $750.00 and $1,000.00 each week.

In addition, I am employed at a restaurant. I average earning $150.00 a night, take home.

In the event you are still wondering, there are several of us out here who work hard and “bust our butts” in order to get what we want.

I am sure there are spoiled individuals out there who had their cars bought for them by their parents. But do not stereotype all of us in that manner. There are those of us who are smart, work hard, and invest smart. This allows us to purchase what we desire.

Congratulations to those of you out there who are similar.

I dont understand why other people look down on other people because there parents bought or help buy their car . Im 19 and ive had a couple cars and when i graduated high school last year my parents treated me to a brand new M3. Now should i feel bad about this and say no im sorry i dont want it? I mean come on there is nothing wrong with parents treating their kids to nice things. So i guess what im saying is people can hate on us and call us spoiled but what does it accomplish, all of us here share the same passion and thats cars so who cares how we get the cars! Sorry about ranting im having a bad day at work...

Well, y'all are going to be able to sing "happy B-day" here in a couple weeks to my 62nd!!

By the way, lets not go hard at all the young dudes driving Zs.
At 20 I had a brand new T-Bird Vert. The other side of the coin was I was working my butt off going to school & working...both full time. Paid for the Bird myself.
