Default Liquid Aluminum Cancelled

It was already stated in another thread, but just letting everyone know that Liquid Aluminum has been cancelled for 05. Some people have said that they can't order it anymore, but you should be able to through July. August ordering will be 05's though.

LA is the only color that was cancelled for 05.

I do not know if any colors were added yet.

It's a very hard color to match up! It is not worth the extra money in my opinion!

This is just a hunch, but I suspect Nissan might have a merry-go-round of 1 color each year or two...started with Brickyard then went to Liquid Aluminum...maybe Yellow is next.

If it was the same price, it would have done a lot better.

I think a one year only "unique" color is a good marketing idea. Allows folks to select something to really set their car apart from the rest if they want.

This should not take the place of rotating other colors, tho. I'd like to see them rotate 2 or 3 colors each year... one being a color specific to that year and the other 1 or 2 being rotations in the overall lineup that may stick around several years in row.

I wouldn't be suprised if the anniversary edition was either yellow or racing green...

I think a dark green with a nice pearl shine would suit the Z over a yellow. Yellow just makes me think of it as a ricey car

Yeah, that was what I was thinking. There have been several rumors about an anniversary edition. This cancellation could be because of a special anniversary color coming?????????

Yes .. I really hate those "ricey" yellow Ferraris and Lambos as well as my old yellow Z32 TT.

I vote for the deep red used on the BMW M3. Far superior to the Z Redline.

I think a tone between silverstone and black should be good, but it has to have that "pearly" look. So its sorta like dark grayish pearl look
