With light 19s and CF hood, how much weight can you save? Any other mods that will lighten the car with affecting the looks and comfort?
And also, what's the difference between curb weight and gross weight?

CF hood, not much. ~ 5lbs tops.
CF hatch ~40lbs or more.
Lightweight battery ~ 6lbs.
Remove spare tire/tools ~30lbs.
Aftermarket strutbar ~5lbs. (the stock one is hella heavy)
Exhaust ~up to 40 lbs.
Cats ~10lbs?
Rest you probably have to suffer some comfort.

well yes. it's made out off aluminium. so it should be light.
Also you can get a CF Front Fender and CF doors. don't know how much weight it shaved off.

Don't forget seats... base seats are simple, can be replaced by lightweight... save 60-80lbs with lightweight seats and LW seat mounts.
Also, clutch and flywheel... 66lbs or so... can save ~33lbs off of that and still keep streetability... plus add some whp.

curb weight is how much the car is without gas, fluids and passengers. gross weight includes full fluids, and an avg person in each seat

with light 19s and cf hood you won't save much at all. good hood will give you 6lbs savings and 19s are heavy by definition.
With lightweight 17s; light seats (and light mounts!); Ti exhaust; no cats; no spare, tools and trunk mat; cf hatch; light battery; 1/2 to 1/4 gas in tank; you can easily save 300+ lbs. It's going to cost less than $5K. Hatch is the biggest savings but most expensive one.
I'm already at 110+ with no spare tire.
