Turned VDC and Traction control off for the first time...
Holy **** this thing is fast! The difference in performance with and without VDC and Traction on is extremely noticable. I wasn't intending to take it to redline, but once the wheels broke loose, it shot up quicker than I expected and the rev limiter kicked in. I shifted to 2nd gear and the car just took off. No wonder our tires will only last about 12K miles.
I loved the way the back-end scooted out as the tires were loose, and then it straightened up once I was 2nd. Definitely not something to do on the road with other cars/people around.
I also noticed that when driving rather spirited and taking a turn (with VDC on), a light came on my dashboard flashing "slip". I thought to myself "yes it is" as the wheels squeeled and the car completed the turn.
Pretty f!@#ing cool! Not like my daily driver Dodge Durango.
