Exclamation No changes for 2005 350Z!

Hello everybody,

I just wanted to share some information I got from my dealer today.

First off, my 2005 350Z Glacier Pearl White has been ordered!
(August production - September/October delivery)

Secondly, the dealer advised there are no colour changes, HP changes, etc. NO CHANGES for 2005.

That's interesting considering a number of people have already reported that Liquid Alum. has been dropped.

I don't see why they would up the HP on G35, but keep the HP the same for the Z. Shouldn't Z have more HP the G?

Did they change the name for white? I thought they were Pikes Peak White.

Congratulations Nominee, now the hard part starts ... waiting.

The white in Canada has always been called Glacier Pearl White. I think they are the same as PPW, just a different name. LA was discontinued during 2004.5 for Canada.

I've actually been waiting since May. I ordered a White one, but no dealer in Canada could provide me with one. Thus, I decided to wait even longer for a 2005...

I'm hoping it was BS/lack of knowledge. I wanted the bump in HP!

I don't think it's BS, because I put a clause in my contract that the dealer MUST contact me if there are any changes for 2005 before odering. Thus, the car has already been ordered.

Default more info

I dont know about you guys but he sounds a little fishy, don't take it personal buddy but what model and how much did you pay plus what was included in your deal. Just a lil more info on your car may prove a point, oh yeah 1 more thing, where there 04's on the lot and if so what did you tell him to make him order you a car that they haven't sold one of yet.

In Canada we have 3 models. Touring, Performance, and Track.

I bought the Performance one, which has everything except for Nav system, brembos and Rays wheels. There was 1 '04 on the lot - Silver.

What point are you proving?

Price = 50k CDN

50K for a performance without Nav? It's 45,400 for a 04' performance... that's about 5K raise in price!!! You talking about the price out the door?

Last year sales guy told me that there will be no coupes in '04, only roadsters and that I shouldn't wait to find out and just buy the car from him now .
