It's interesting cause I've heard many people say that Nissan holds off on releasing the data on the 05' Z so not to impact the sales of the 04'. If what people are saying is true that there are no changes for the 2005 I don't see how that info will slow sales of the 04' The only way that a 05' will hurt the sales of the 04' is if there are enough changes that people are willing to wait a few months to get a Z.

ahh, that's a good point. But as I'm typing I also remember that only 5 vehicles 2005 data was released, most are still unclear. So maybe they're just slow this year

I am going to the dealer today and see if I can get the sales manager to talk. Somebody must know the scoop on the 2005 models.

If yellow is an option, I will have to see redline and yellow side-by-side to make my choice.

If yellow was available at my time of purchase then NO DOUBT that I would have jumped on that.

Hmm... I also would have been hard pressed to pass up a bright, sports car yellow had it been available when I ordered.

Though... I'll be in the marked for a daily driver replacement next year. Maybe I'll see if they have a yellow roadster with black top ... my dog could fit in that, right?

My dealer knew nothing of the 05s. Of course, he also thought the 03/04 Zs were rated at 287 hp at the wheels, and was surprised to hear of the bump in HP for the G35....

not that i trust this sort of thing, but this thing's pretty accurate:
http://www.evotuners.com/quarter.htm

13.55 second stock z would be nice.

I'd be ok with it. Not as hard to clean as black, not as common as the silvers, I'v never been a red kinda guy, blues nice but is also bright, whites nice too but doesnt get the nice shine after you detail it.

Nothin beats a clean black car though, unfortunatly it doesnt stay clean long.
