NNA sent me a customer service form
After reading this forum for a couple of months , I decided to call NNA and prod them for any info. I called them three times before i received any noteworthy response. They did some investigating and stated to me that I was going to receive my car in November. This is suspect and I get the feeling that I was just being placated but I have to play the game.Nissan holds the cards that I want. I ordered my car 5 months ago and my dealer really knows very little.I know more about this car than any of those so called salesman, thanks to you guys and information dissemination on this site. About a week ago NNA sent me a customer service form and wanted to know how I had been treated by them , by my dealer , my whole Nissan experience and would I reccomend Nissan to anyone else. I really cannot be too dissapointed with Nissan yet. After I preorderd I received the confirmation letter that stated I would receive my new car between the months of Sept-Nov.Since it is not the end of November they have held up there end of the deal. I replied that I was satisfied with Nissan but not overly impressed. I think they could have handled this whole pre-order process much better. The knowledge transfer has been terrible from factory to dealer and finally to consumer.I also stated that my dealer lied and was shady and this contaminated the process even more. I know my opinions do not account for much, but I received a temporary relief from venting to this unknown entity.
If I recall, both you and I are in the same boat. We both ordered mid May and seem to be working off of the same delivery information. I guess when I heard the production month was September, I kind of hoped that I'd have a VIN by now. Nothing. In fact, last call to the dealer I was told delivery would likely be late Nov, possibly Dec.
Frustrating. I had a T order number. How about you Bobg?

Just wanted to give you an update Bobg since we seem to be working on the same schedule.
Called NNA a couple days ago asking about a VIN. They said they'd have someone call me back within 48 hours. A day later I got a call from my dealer. He gave me my VIN as well as the projected delivery date of Nov 27th. Finally, a bit of progress.
Figured you might want to try to do the same if you haven't already recieved your VIN.
Good luck bro! Won't be long now.

Thanks for the update yzarCritS. I will call NNA again. Whom did you oreder your car with? Congratulations!!! You must be thrilled now. We will see each other one of these days with our toys.
Thanks Bob
I ordered through Brown's Sterling Nissan. You bet I'm thrilled. Now that I have the VIN I can start counting down the days.
I'll be in a Silverstone Enthusiast. I haven't decided what I want on my plates yet, but you can bet they'll have the Virginia Tech plate. If ever you see me, be sure to give me a honk and a wave!

Crits & Bob,
I may start another thread, but it's an old topic... just wondering if you guys put on the front plate or not. Most of the Vette people I know don't. I should finally have mine (from Sheehy in Manassas) next month and plan to try and tell them not to drill the holes... assuming of course it's not done before that... time to get my act together.. d&nm, can't wait much longer!
