......since when did the Z have "rear seats"? unless it's talking about the "rear end part" of the driver's side, but that's just weird. oh well.. where's the hp boost??!
It isn't weird, and it allows you to set the seat to a much more comfortable position. The 2004.5 cars already have the dual adjustments (two ***** on the outside of the seat), at least my roadster does. Cranking them both the same amount raises the seat up and down. Cranking only the front **** only adjusts the height of the front of the seat. Cranking the rear **** only changes the height of the rear of the seat. So effectively they allow you to tilt the whole seat forwards or backwards. This is in addition to the 4-way power seat adjustments which allow you to move the seat forward or back, and to adjust the tilt of just the seat back.

HP increase from 287 to 305 at crank could be as simple as a few NISMO parts, i.e cat-back exhaust + CAI + headers. Since headers are R-tune, I would not imagine they would be used, maybe just tweaking of the ECU.

I am still trying to hold off for BIG increases (i.e. supercharger or turbo option) before I go aftermarket. I would imagine 2006-7 if it is going to happen at all.

I guess that means Track models with factory navigation will be somewhat rare. They probably dropped that combination due to low sales.

here's a prediction... the 35th anniversary model will be the debut of the north american nismo kit. makes sense to help differentiate it from the regular coupe. also the 20th anniversary maxima came with a body kit.

you heard it here first folks!!!!

That was official, via www.nnanet.com So your info is just hearsay I take it? I have a rule against posting BS: I don't do it. People don't believe me, but whatever. No one believed me when i said that there was going to be an SE-R Altima either, and now there is. I understand where everyone comes from though, a majority of salespeople just talk out of their butts. The ones in my dealership would too if it wasn't for me.

The reason it has been posted is that 2005 Sentra, Altima SE-R, Maxima and 350Z's begin to be produced in August. We order all those this week. So they post the changes so that we are aware before we order.

And on the Navigation, yes, it is an option on the Touring model only.

I have thought for a while that the anniversary edition would make a perfect way to introduce the US version NISMO kit. I am guessing the following fo rthe Anniv. edition:

A Track model to start. $33,000 Rays(maybe they will put the 19's from the '05 G?!), Brembos nice way to start
leather from the touring model, $600. Add the Nismo body kit from the factory, $2000 painted and installed. Maybe the Nismo exhaust and intake and S-Tune suspension, $2000. Plus limited edition price increase, $2000.

I figure around $39,600. Lets say $40,000 for a limited edition 35th Anniv. Z. Anybody have any better thoughts as to the price?

None of these changes are interesting in the least. I hate yellow cars and heated windows means diddly in Miami.

I'm just wondering if I am better off from value proposition buying a 2004 late in the season vs. getting an early 2005. When I go to sell in 5 years that 1 year makes a difference but can I get a better price now on an '04 than the '05 will demand in a few months?

I hate the process of buying a new car.

But i do love owning a new car

What is NNAnet.com? Seems like an dealer only network. If so thx a million for posting the info, has there been any other info? Anything on powertrain upgrades?

All I know is what I posted, and to my knowledge, anything ordered from now on is a 2005. They should be hitting lots in about 90 days.

nnanet is only avaliable to dealer personnel and employees of nna.
