Default transmission problems?

ok, first off, when im in neutral and i just bring the clutch back up, i will hear a click sound. second, witht he clutch up, i hear some sort of rattling from the transy, not too loud. and most importatly... say im cruising in first gear and i let off the gas at about 3000 revs (so the car is engine braking) and then i hit the clutch, i will hear alot of clunking coming from the transmission/ engine is this normal?

do you guys have any of these problems

This is not normal, I know someone with almost the same described problems, he's getting a new tranny as we speak.. Your tranny may be shot as well, take it to the dealer to be sure.

Actually, the rattle with the clutch out seems to be normal, most cars have it. Your first gear at 3000 rpm situation sounds like the same problem I had where the noise was coming from the rear axle. The fix used to be to torque it down, but now I think Nissan just released a TSB to replace the hubs in the rear.

I suspect you need the rear axle fix, but your transmission might be normal.
