this saturday i let my mom borrow my Z to go to lunch with her friend that she hadent seen in like 20 years and wanted to impress her lol, it wasnt a big deal to let her borrow it, she drives it pretty regularly and shes only been in 1 accident since i was born, thats a 19 year safe driving record so i trust her with my baby, well until now lol, she backed it out of the garage and right into my dads car witch was parked in the driveway , the damage is minor, a few paint scratchs, the bumper is a little dented and the bumper looks like it got knocked out of line a little bit, luckily all the damage is on the bumper, no damage to the rear quater panel or tail light, im gonna take it to the dealer tomorrow and get an estimate, im gonna bite the bullet and pay the dealership because i want it done right, and shes paying

 

That sucks. I say sue her.

My mom did them same **** to my car but she didnt back my car into my dads truck she backed my dads truck into my car! I sorta felt bad because she told me and started cryig for some reason. Had to get a new hood and front bumper.

 

Yea I really dislike the dealership just because their super natiz with any little mod you have done with your car.

A few years back,

My mom backed out into my friends car...took out his headlight.
A year after that, she backs out into my cousin's car and left a football sized dent that's been there till today.

No apologies, no reimbursements...no nothing.

At least you were pleasant to your mom and your mom was nice about it likewise. If I was in your exact situation and I even started to complain about her mistake, she would've said, "I bought it for you and I'll destroy the damned thing if I want to"

i took it to the dealer today, they said 476 to take the bumper off, fix it, strip it and repaint the whole thing, if i get it there when they open i can have it back by the time they close, its going in tomorrow at 7:30 AM, well i didnt get any car parts but my mom took me to the mall and bought me a bunch of new clothes so im not complaining

 

I let my mom take my car once since i was blocking her and it was too early for me to get up and move it (i think it was around noon ) and she brought it back with a lil lil dent on the door because she always parks in the tightest/closest spot....NEVER AGAIN! I hide my keys now...different spot every night
