A Swedish New Mexican?
Earlier this morning, some idiot from Applied Research Associates in New Mexico, registered as ZISME. (he wasn't the real ZISME)
I say idiot because he had it in his profile that he was from Sweden, not New Mexico. I traced his ip to see where he worked and then proceeded to cut him off. He was posing as ZISME which obviously he wasn't, and then to top it all off, he had posted a fake dyno chart for the 350Z.
Tim (tbcz) had already edited that out before I got to it, but as far as I was concerned, being an imposter of someone that we all know of and trust, isn't a good idea.
I have now banned that user from the site. Not one user from his work can now access this place, nor the domain itself to see photos etc. So hurray for idiots.
Just please, if you're a guest and you haven't registered yet.... understand that everything you do in here is tracked ip wise and if you pretend to be ZISME, your ip best read nissan-usa.com or I'm going to bust you pretty quick.
We are not like other lame boards that allow idiots to wander freely. We protect this site at all costs and THAT is why the site is growing. Well, that and having the best damn community a guy/girl could ask for (sob, sob) (haha)
Having a differing opinion is fine, but don't pretend to be someone you're not or at least be smart enough to know how to spoof the nissan-usa.com ip addresses.
ummm... not that...cough cough.... anyone *could* actually do that stuff. heh
damn... 7:53am and I am STILL not in bed. I am now off to bed, knowing that the other mods will kick butt where needed, if needed.

1. Who is this ZISME fellow/person/dude/gal everyone's been talking about? It sounds like the freakin' Oracle from the Matrix or Yoda?
2. Why so hard on that previous person and that entire company with that IP address? Isn't it possible that they could have mistakenly picked this ZISME name by coincidence? What happened to warnings?

You can throw out the coincidence speculation in this case because the same fake Dyno chart that he posted here was also posted by him at Zcar.com using "Zis1me". Note the "1' instead of "I" to fake it.
Having said that, it does kinda suck for someone else in this company who might be totally unaware of all this and just wants to browse my350Z.com. He/she will have to suffer because of this fake person.
