Smile Are you upbeat, or down today?

Even though we can't get absolute confirmation on the performance stats, strangely enough, I am rather upbeat and excited today. While I contemplated buying something else about 50 times yesterday, today I relish in the info overload we've received in the last week.

As someone here said in the past, the car is no longer vaporware. It's here, it's real and people are actually getting to drive and/or ride in it. The frequency of sightings will intensify as the days go by and I can't wait for mine to arrive!

Dood I'm more and more upbeat everyday! The waiting is absolutely excrutiating. I put down my deposit on this car about 18 months ago when the concept first came out. Now seeing all these pics and hearing of peoples experiences driving it are making me crazy! I guess I understand some people not liking some of the rumored stats, but for me, I was excited when I thought it was gonna be 260+ hp and sub-6 0-60. So whatever it ends up being, I'm going to love it. I've actually had a dream or two about this car, it's kinda sad

As each day gets closer to Aug (I hope) I grow more excited. Trying to figure out in my head how to attach a front license plate. Thinking about in the grill area with a smoke grey lens on it. Possibly under the grill in front of the chin spoiler. (bend the top & bottom of the plate so that only the "BILZ Z" shows. Any other ideas.

Why not just do what I'm going to do, which is not attach a front license plate at all. I'm going to ask my dealer not to put the frame on the front. I've been driving my current car without one for about 4 years now with no problems. I seriously doubt cops will pull you over just for that.

i think I'm down. but for no good reason. If i had walked into a dealership and bought a car that has as much stlye and pizaz as the Z with 287 hp that does 0-60 in 5.5 I would be exstatic. but through the months of banter and analysis, I sortof got my heart set on around 300 ponies.
as I said not logical because this car will be by far the fastest car I've ever owned, and I probably couldn't even tell the differance between 287,5.5 and 300, 5.2.....

oh well.. I guess I'll have to drive my blues into the ground on some twisty turny road when the Z arrives

I am very sure the Z will be tested on more than one occasion under 5.5.I say that with conviction.
