A/C doesn't feel that cold....
I live in Houston. With temps nearing 100 everyday, the A/C is my best friend. This is my first Nissan car. The 350Z A/C just doesn't feel that cold to me. I also have a Toyota Camry and it blows much colder. Is this typical of Nissan cars?
Thanks
Thanks
I've got mine blowing towards the front only, on Recirculation and on 65. Here is FL its doing the job great. Make sure everything is setup right. I guess if its still not blowing cold maybe the dealership can check it out.
Are the vents open? lol Sorry I had to ask. Really though. You should probably go get that checked out. Either that or its just hot as all hell
Although its been 90+ here and like I said. The AC is doing just fine. Have that checked out.
i agree with you...i know mine works for sure but it SUCKS compared to other cars
my moms car blows freezing cold air instantly

Dude, I don;t know about your's but this car pushes the hardest and coldest A/C I've ever felt...Its usually about mid 90's and damn near 100% humidity in the summer here in this crappy swamp area of Jersey.
Here in Vegas it's been over 100 degrees everyday and the AC in the 350 isn't the same as my old 4Runner. In my Opinion Toyota's AC blows all others away. I suppose the leather in the Z doesn't help either.

OTOH, the A/C doesn't suck the horses out of the engine the way it does on some cars. I haven't tested the difference between A/C on and A/C off on a real dyno, but my butt dyno can't feel any difference. That's not true of many other cars.
I've owned 13 cars since i've moved to Arizona and there are definately better A/C systems out there! I think it's a combination of the small vents, the fact that only two can reach the driver and possibly the temp. Feels like not enough volume, and the small stream that reaches me hits my hand first or gets dilluted on it's path to cooling off my head.. lol. I have a 50 minute commute each way and when I reach my house, it's still not cooled off on some days.. my 240SX takes about 10 minutes to make the cabin ice cold.
It doesn't get much hotter than AZ or Vegas, and I'd give the Z A/C a 6 on a scale of 1 to 10. On a brighter note, it still gets 25mpg with the A/C on, which cancels out the poor A/C performance.
Tint helps, and get a sunshade if you park outside during the day.
