Clutch "barking" when lightly pressed ???
My 2004 Z now has 2,400 miles on it. I have noticed that this car get different "quirks" that appear and then disappear, so I hope that this is one of those becuase it is really annoying.
When the car is cold, the clutch "barks". You have to be moving and have the revs above 1.5K RPM, almost like you have to build up some pressure. If I just lightly press the clutch, before really depressing it, I get a sound that resembles a "bark" or light "squeak".
It does go away after about 15 minutes. It showed up 300 miles ago. It is so annoying. I tried searching for this particular problem and did not find any exact descriptions of what I have. Can anyone else shed some light on what this is and whether or not is will go away?
