Default Difference in models?

Before I get incinerated, I visited nissandriven.com and used the search function. Couldn't find the exact answer. I was going to call up a dealer, but the two years ago, when I was shopping for a Prelude, a salesman told me the Si was faster than the VTEC, and that all of the new (1997+) preludes came with 4 wheel steering

Anyway, is the only difference between the track model and a regular base model the wheels, brakes, and suspension? What else is different about at from a performance stand point? Thanks in advance.

At the Nissan site you can look up a Base & what features it has; then the same with Track. Then compare.

Bad link Roy. But I did go to the nissan website again and found the comparisions. Don't know why I couldn't find it last time.

Other than what is listed, nothing else is different? The reason why I'm asking, is because back in 97, when Acura listed the type R on their website, they didn't mention that the R had a different (reinforced) chassis, and how the suspension worked different than the regular models. Just wanted to know if this was the case with the Z.
Thanks, guys.

The suspension is the same for all models. As far as performance, the most obvious differences are VDC, TCS, LSD, wheels, brakes & underbody diffuser. There are more differences though. The link to compare differences is at http://www.nissanusa.com/vehicles/Mo...yAll#topOfPage
