Will an S2000 antenna fit our Z's? Which short antenna do you guys think looks good with the Zs? Do you think this is a good deal:

I have the S2000 - - I like the look and fit - - bought it online for about $15 (forget the site now - check around, don't pay Honda dealer prices)
just looked at the ebay link - - I'd jump on that

S2000 antenna on the Z looks much better than OEM. $11 is a good deal on one. The base of the S2000 antenna is slightly larger than OEM base, but not enough of a difference to really notice. FM signal reception is unchanged vs. OEM.

Do a search in the exterior mod forum for a lot of previous post regarding this subject.
The S2000 shorty looks great .. but I don't have that one.
I first bought the PMP shorty shown below (an old pic by a respected member of this forum but now EVO owner .. john350z) ....
And then I bought the shortest stick .. the Perrin shorty (next post).
Perrin looks the best .. but in my experience, the reception is very poor.
My first purchased and installed antenna is ... the short-but-looks-like-stock antenna --- PMP ...
Up to you ... there are many choices..

I like the S2000 antenna better! I think I might jump on that antenna offer on ebay. will the antenna fit flush on our base or will it be offcentered?

You can do a search and get a lot more opinions but everyone seems to say that it gets good reception. I bought one from the ebay link (1 left now I think) and he doesn't accept paypal. How lame. How can someone in 2004 not accept paypal. I wouldn't have bought it if I had noticed that but I did so off goes the check.

thanks for your opinions guys! I think I will have to go with the S2000 antenna. First thing is, I will have to go to a Honda dealer and see what their prices are before I buy it from ebay. If it is the same price at Honda, I might as well get there. I dont have to wait for shipping!

Has anyone removed the antenna and plugged the hole?
I did that to my 300ZX cuz the antenna was motorized and the motor got screwed up.. so I got a "FM booster" and plugged the hole and painted over it.. I bet it will help the Z look sleeker..
