brakes replaced 15k miles

Default brakes replaced 15k miles

so i brought my car in today for 15k maintennce and they say that ive been driving my car hard and i have no brakes left and its at the "wear mark" and id ave to get them replaced. so the charge is 215. is this possible to have brakes replaced at 15k?

Yup, its a sports car and if you drive it hard its gonna wear down. Personally I'd replace them myself, there's a thread in one of the sections that shows how, and decent break pads (Hawks) only cost in the 70 dollar range.

I had mine replaced after 4800 miles, new pads & new rotors. Nissan did replace for free.
The only hard driving I did was 10 laps at button will race track, proves the pads are weak for hard driving.

do it yourself... brake change on the 350z is one of the easiest I've ever had to do...

I got the front replaced at 12k miles. I ordered Hawks online and got it installed. Cost me $150 for everything. Oem pads suck. Much less dust with these Hawks.

yup, just replaced mine as well, 14,719 miles. I need to learn how to change my own brakes.... anyone have link to the tutorial?
