Default Highest density of really nice cars.

I've lived in the San Fran area, LA, NY, and DC. I've seen a lot of nice cars in LA, but I'm originally from Miami and have recently moved back.

I dont' think I've ever seen such an insanely high density of nice cars as the area around South Beach. I mean its nuts... Porches are a dime a dozen as are Mercedes SL500's and I routinely see Ferraris, Bentleys, and Aston Marins. If you go to any hotel on South Beach you see them parked all over. Of all the places I've lived I think South Beach (Miami Beach) edges out certain parts of LA for having the highest density of really nice cars (lets say over $100k)

miami does have a lot of nice cars. If you want to stand out in florida, you have to own an enzo.

There was an Enzo parked out in front of the Loews Hotel when I went there to eat last month at Emeril's new place on the beach. Its nuts. BTW, Emeril's is really great and not insanely expensive for anyone in S. Fla. Was right around $120 for 2 of us and we had appetizers, drinks and shared a dessert.

There is a lot of really nice cars here in Vancouver. If you go right down town, it is not uncommon to see Modenas, SL55 AMG`s, I`ve even seen the odd Diablo.

For one, there is no state income tax in Florida.

No state income tax is big. Also you cant ever get your house taken away from you no matter what you do ever, so a lot of people buy homes in florida just in case (obviously rich people), nice weather (mostly in the winter) and South Beach is such a ridiculous hot spot these days that a lot of movie and tv stars have homes in Miami. A lot of insanely wealthy South Americans live here or have homes here as well. their kids often go to school here because they aren't going to get their kids kidnapped for ransom.

Basically lots of reasons.

$120 for 2 people is a lot of money for a meal.

Miami is INSANE... specifically, Coral Gables. It's all Benz.

it takes a serious ride to stand out here. My DB 350z seems to get a lot of looks, though

nah...ive already seen 2 enzos (and a third at the collection...very nice dealership - recieved 3 to sell, but the owner kept 1).

the only really nice car i haven't seen that i can think of is a mclaren.

south beach on the weekends is mercedes, bmw, ferraris, bentleys, rolls royce, porsches everywhere, some lambos, a good amount of aston martins, a maybach every now and then, even wyclefs pagani zonda once in a while. not to mention lots of escalades and such with rediculous wheels and sound systems.

Dallas has a huge concentration of high quality vehicles. Theres not a day that goes by that you wont see a ferrari. Lambos you once a week. We have 10 carrera gt's. Im biased on the next one but we have the highest concentration of third gen Rx7's in the country. Porches are a dime a dozen especially the gt2. But I think in any of your major cities in the country you will have a high concentration of extremely expensive cars. But we got lots down here.

Boston has some nice cars....My boss has his own collection of cool cars including McLaren F1, MayBach, Rolls, Lambo, Ferrari and oh the latest toy, Porsche Carrera GT. Eventhough there may not be a lot of these cars in Boston, I do get to see them daily just because I work for the guy.....lucky bastard! I heard Jay Leno came by once to ride in F1...

Just like Miami. My cousin came to visit, and counted 12 Ferraris within a matter of hours, in different colors. They are the rich-man's Honda down here... lol

Last time I went to South Beach (this past March), all I saw were Porsches, SL500s, Bentleys, and 360 Modenas. Every restaurant we drove by had at least one 360 Modena and the same with all the hotels in South Beach. I saw 2 Porsche GT2s, the new 996 Turbo cabrio, literally 3 Porsche 996 Turbos within 15 seconds of each other on one road in Boca raton (and 30 Turbos at Champion-Audi Porsche). No one has the regular Cayenne, they're all Turbos. I saw too many teenage kids with the new BMW 7 series and another in an S-class with 20" chrome wheels. I also saw a lot of AMG cars, especially S55s and CLK55s along with a lot of regular CLK430s (this is the car you'll see most in So Fla). There are also a lot of M3 cabrios driven by old ladies (probably SMG ).

Edit: I also saw the new SL600, which is bad@ss!

I have to say Southern California. Huge amount of nice cars.
Relocated from NYC and the amount of nice cars in SoCal is insane
Compared to NYC.

On a week-end drive down the Malibu Coast you will see Ferrari's, Aston Martins, Lambo's. I've seen a maybach.
Not to mention the huge amount of restored classic cars.

Take a cruise down Sunset Strip on a Saturday night and it’s a high end car show.

You will see it all here in SoCal.
