350Z / Boxster encounter in German road test
The 'Rheinische Post', a German newspaper, published a road test of the 350Z today. The opener is kind of cute and rather untypical for the usually more conservatively written German test reports. Here's my best translation effort:
"If you wish to meet new people, take a seat in a Nissan 350Z. People will turn around and look. Because it’s a ‘looker-atter’. The design is reminiscent of a Porsche. Nevertheless still its own - a fusion of curves and edges, of modesty and provocation. Waiting at the red light. Next to me: a Porsche Boxster. The driver rolls down his window and squalls in curiosity: “What do we have here?” “Nissan!” I shout. “How much horsepower?” “280!” My neighbor is amazed: “Cool! And how much is it?” “35900, fully loaded.” Mr. Porsche is baffled. And is probably starting to figure out that although his car costs 10000 Euros more, it has 53 hp less. Anyhow, he does not notice the light turns green. Can you say bye-bye..."
In the test itself, the 350Z gets an excellent evaluation in every respect (hey, we knew that). The test guy says that if anybody really wants to critize the Z, they would have to complain about the trunk space limiting road trip opportunities.

P.S.: 1 Euro = 1.21 US Dollar
