Angry West coast strike affecting East Coast Deliveries?

I'm expecting in November, I was told by my dealer it's possible the car is on a boat, and the west coast stike could be affecting them, but I live in Virginia. And most cars come through Newport, but my dealer said not all..

So anyone here know if this west coast strike is affecting our deliveries? And do the 350Z's for east coast also port on westcoast and driven here on a truck or something?

It should have no effect what so ever. Different ships are used for each coast. The only possibility would be if the ships get delayed loading in Japan due to the schedule changes caused by the lock-out (unlikely though).

We get it from the Cali ports. That should be true. My baby will only be delayed a few days.

The ships for the east coast come through the panama canal. The only way they will be slowed down is in production but there will not be any type of major slowdown for the east coast.

I took over a cancellation from Tri-State nissan in Winchester, and the orginal order was placed in May sometime, order number is W180127, no VIN yet, and told my delivery would be in sometime in November. Kinda getting furious with my dealer, plus they tell me they are putting a front license plate holder because it's the LAW.. yet I NEVER seen a corvette with one?

My dealer is not putting a front bracket or the dealership logo. They do not have to put the front bracket on.
