I can't believe you gave your keys to someone you didn't even know. Come on now!

Insurance would cover the damages no matter if it was stolen or not. Covered under your collision coverage.

Must be nice to get any type of car you ask for just by asking your Daddy? What will you get next after you get tired of the Z?

"this thread is just bringing up new questions on what actually happen than night...."

Exactly. Looks like we are getting the story she told Dad that night ???

Ahhh, sorry but it is NOT theft since she GAVE him the keys and now Dad is going to suffer for it.

I REALLY hate to have to say this again, but TEENAGERS DO NOT BELONG IN THIS KIND OF CAR!!! ESPECIALLY if Daddy buys it for them.

Dad buys kid a Beemer. Kid "hates it". Kid "begs" dad for a Z. Day buys kid a 350Z coupe. Still not good enough. Kid then gets roadster.

Doesn't ANYONE see anything wrong with this?

"i was having my brakes fixed at nissan and i sat down with a guy and it worked out that a roadster would be less money for me per month.."

Nice. Getting your brakes fixed and on a whim (as if you were buying a new pair of shoes or something) you decide to just go ahead and buy a new car (your 3rd in 2 years).

Classic dealer ploy to get more $$$. Don't you realize that by simply negotiating a lower monthly payment, you'll just be paying A LOT more for the car in the long run? Oops! I mean YOUR DAD, will be paying a lot more in the long run. Salesman always try to distract you away from how much you'll be paying OVERALL, buy only discussing your MONTHLY payment.

Call me an old fogey, but this has WRONG written all over it.

this story just proves that some people shouldn't own nice cars...or cars for that matter. i read stories like this and shake my head in shame. i can't believe there are people out there that come up with these stories! i'm sorry. most of it sounds like BS to me. either that...or you just don't think.

"i was playing with a puppy and he stole the keys". uh, how long does it take to put the puppy down and follow him? and, where did you have your keys that he could just come up and take them from you? are you one of those people that lets them dangle out of your pocket? "he ran out there faster than you and started the car". uh, why didn't your "friend" tell him to stop f'n around? he must be one hell of a sprinter to get out there fast enough to unluck the door, get in, start it up...etc...all in the time where you were bending down to put a puppy on the floor. "i tried to pull him out and he sped off". again, why didn't your "friend" or his "friends" stop him? or, why didn't you call the cops right when that happened? here's an idea...stand behind the car!! he wouldn't be able to back out of the driveway and take the car.

maybe you hang out with the wrong crowd of scumbags. and, what type of police department knows who crashed a car, has someone admit that they crashed a car...and doesn't do anything about it? around here...even if you are on the force...you will still be at fault and penalized. where you are...because mom is on the force...nothing happened? damn...do you live in la-la land? mom and dad can protect you guys if anything bad happens??

"when i was 17 i was driving a 2002 bmw 325ci.. i hated it and begged for a z" wow...what did you ask for now that you've gone through 4 cars? what new "toy" did daddy buy you? did you go for the ferrari like ZpikeZ mentioned? i'm sure your dad would spring for it. i mean...his insurance will only be like 8-900 a month for you.

and this proves, again, that there are stupid parents out there that will do anything to spoil their kids. i can tell by the "princess" in your name that you have anything and everything you want...right? this whole story just proves you are spoiled and irresponsible. the only person i feel bad for is your father...who keeps on shelling money out to make you happy.

i have some advice for the father of 350zprincess. here goes: get you daughter a bus pass. that way...if it's stolen...you can just have it reissued!

Amen Bonz! These stories just make me shake my head! We need more responsible z owners like you!

Maybe this girl is just a spoiled little princess that needs her daddy to stop bailing her out. This is just a sick story, and that Z deserved so much better.

If i were you, and since it seems you have some deep pockets, id have a private detective hunt out the boys and hire a lawyer then buy another Z

Well, here's another poster child for irresponsibility. I think it's funny when these 17 and 18 year olds come posting on this and other boards about getting a Z. That always triggers a long thread of the pros and cons. The bottom line is that until you're in your mid 20's, you're irresponsible. Believe me, I was there. I was also 24 when I got my first Z.

Well, not COMPLETE BS, but BS none the less!

I am guessing she did go to a party with her (dads) Z and in order to impress her new friend who asked for a ride, she tossed him the keys. After the wreck, she had to come up with something to tell dad and this is what they concocted.

haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahhaah

it took forever for anyone to mention anything. if a guy had started this thread you all would have started off bashing him for being so young and having so many cars and being so stupid with it.

every year at my high school there has always been a young, hot girl that got spoiled with a nice car by her parents....they never deserved it and always got into accidents and had their cars replaced. meanwhile, their parents drove cars of much lower class.

i'm not judging the princess, just making assumptions that usually hold true.

if your parents are rich, that's cool, it makes no difference in my life. i'd like to spoil my kids in the future...but not too much, and they WILL be grateful.

better luck to you in the future

The way I see it, someone asked her if he could take the Z out for a spin. She gave him the keys trying to be some kind of hotshot.

He took it for a spin and wrecked it. She is now saying he stole it.

Is it just me or is our school system in our country going down the $hitter. The grammar on some of our younger posters is terrible!

Going down the $hitter? Its been in there for awhile now. Public schools are worthless, and privates aren't getting any better.

Wow, a BMW and 2 x Z by 18... Princess, don't feel too bad. Its just a car, and judging by how quickly you go through them, it would've been out the door in a year. So its a little sooner, no biggie...

Instead of worrying about the car(s), you should worry than NOTHING EVER happens to your Daddy. Because, he seems the true source of your happiness, and a never ending source of cars. Just ask for another one -- may I recommend a C6 Corvette? Nah, better yet, the new M5, yeah the one with 500 ponies and a V10.

Hyacinth Bucket would love to have you as a sister . She'd dump Violet in no time...
(inside joke for those of european/british heritage)

Im guessin Eastern LI - sounds like the type that spends like every day walking around Roosavelt Field and buying expensive azz pre-wrinkled Abercrombie T-shirts for like $30 ea.

Also sounds like the type that would ignore guys like us when we wave because we are driving a Z also, and she takes it as if we are just hitting on her. lol

But either way, sounds like jailbait, so im stayin off it!
