G35 18' Wheels On Z?
My girlfriend has a '03 G35 coupe, with the 18 inch wheel package.
I think the wheels look better than the 18 inch touring wheels on my 03 touring Z.....She could care less if I swapped our wheels, what do you guys think?

You can do it, but as far as I know, the G35 wheels are all the same width, whereas the rear wheels on the 350Z are wider then the front.

if you do swap them out, post the pics of her g with the z's 18s. that would be interesting to see.
As far as wheel width goes G35 18s are 8" front and rear, the same as the Performance/Touring 18s. The only stock wheel that is wider in the back than the front are the Track wheels @ 8.5" in back and 8" in front. The stagger comes from the different tire sizes used front and rear - 225/45 and 245/45.
One more thing to consider - The "G" has better tires, Michelin Pilot Sports.
BTW: Another shot of "G" wheels on a "Z".

...Anyone think the Z's rims would make the G35 look sportier?

I like the G wheels on the Z, but the only thing is when I look at a pic fast, I think they are the stock 17" hideousness that come on the base and enthusiest model Zs.

Point taken, can't argue with free!
That is, if he has the 17's on his Z. Any opportunity to plus size is a good one!
However, if he has the 18's, I'd stay with the Z rims. They are sooo right for that car, its among the few stock rims that look good enough to not change!

Oops, he has the 18's he said, that picture is of the 17's. The 18's are the same ones they put on the Altima though, eh? Personally I like the 17's over those. Really the only ones that I think are decent are the track ones. The others can be replaced with any aftermarket wheel and it's an improvement. You won't miss 'em.
