What is wrong with people? I walk up to my car and notice something's different, MY ANTENNA IS GONE. It was the stock one, can't see why someone would want it other than to just be an A$$HOLE. The thing that sucks is that I really like the stock antenna and the dealership wants $30 for a new one. Any of you guys that replaced your antenna want to sell your old one? Let me know...

 

I've had my stock antenna stolen twice off of different cars, but my truck has a $45 billet antenna and no one has ever stole it.

Just use this as an excuse to get an upgraded short one for your Z and they'll leave it alone.

 

I'll sell you mine for $15 + shipping. Next time use Loktite. But you might get keyed.

 

i say you either get it stolen or not. Dont use any kind of glue because it will end up costing you more.

 

I had the same thing happen to me. Very first day I got the car and parked it at work. I was like sheeeeesh, that sucks. The dealer near me (Power Nissan Torrance) wanted $50 for it. If you want to get ripped off, I urge you to go to Power Nissan, they'll gladly oblige. Luckily a forum member hooked me up for roughly what the member above offered.

 

You know what happened... it's more than likely another Z driver who had his antenna stolen and he's just continuing the chain... some people just suck.

 

I like the Honda S2000 antenna for about 10-15 bucks its cool

 

I just bought the s2000 antenna and it costs $26 with tax here in CA;

 

Santa Rosa CA it was $21.28 with tax, but I have heard that you can get them on ebay for under $10.00. don't know what quality thoough. I bought 2 of the S2000 antennas just to be sure.

You can be vandalized if you locktite them.

so far people have enjoyed stealing my valve stem covers and left the antenna alone.

I guess I'm just gonna go with the S2000 antenna, it will look better... I just really like the whole "stock" appearence of the car. Actually it's the only appearence I can afford lol INGS body kits are kind of pricey. I'll stop by the honda dealership this week and see if I like it or not. Thanks for all the replys

that is irritating. yeah, you might take this opportunity to upgrade your antenna. hopefully that one doesn't get stolen too.
