Extended Warranty
Anyone gone for the extended 100k/84 months warranty that the dealers are pushing. I'm tempted as it seems cheap for the amount of extra coverage.
Thoughts?

extended warranties
Extended warranties CAN be a good deal but you need to consider the following:
1. Do you plan to modify the drivetrain? If so you WILL have serious issues with warranty coverage. Yes there is the Magnuson Moss act to allow you to keep your warranty but I guarantee you will have fight them tooth and nail.
2. How long will you keep the car? 5-6 years? The 350Z already comes with a 3yr/36k miles bumper to bumper and then a 5yr/ 60k miles powertrain warranty - pretty good.
3. For extended warranties you must keep very good records or all maintenance to the vehicle and do all of the regular maintenance on time.
