Wink Car Reached Port!

Was supposed to get my car in November but it is already at the LA port! I thought it would get to port on the 24th of october...Guess it was on the earlier ship. Just thought I would share the good news.

Thing is my car was originally supposed to go to New Mexico, but I have since then moved back to New Jersey. So my dealer is setting it up so that the car will come straight to a dealership here.

Anybody have anything similar done?

Just trying to find out how long it will be till it gets here. I'm guessing within two weeks or so. Anyone have an opinion?

I was just thinking the truck may have other stops to make etc. I know those guys can drive cross country in two days so I was making my estimate longer so I don't get dissapointed.

Congrats!
Maybe the strikes wont completely mess up delivery then.
How did you find this info out? I think my car might be out there too since it was built in september.

you're lucky... i was given an original eta of november... then they changed it to october.... now... they toy with my emotions by telling me november once again... i called the 800 number hoping for good news, but i was unlucky... they said my car was affected by that situation on the docks... oh well

Well I was lucky enough to have a family friend as a Nissan dealer. Even with that though, I am the one who has had to call them and find out all the info. So the dealer rep was in contact a lot with the Nissan NNA rep regarding my car. Also, since it is being shipped here to NJ instead of to the NM dealership they had to be somewhat aware of everything going on and planning it out.

I still knew more info than they did though, which isn't surprising considering the amount of information on this messageboard.
