Angry My Z dented my door!!!!!!!!!

Watch your freaking doors when you open them. I was getting out of my car and I when I pulled on the door handel the wind grabbed the door and it ripped it out of my hand. The door flew all the way open and it hit the stops. The problem is that there is not enough clearance between the front edge of the door and the mounting bracket for the hinge when the door is opened. The door actually hit the hinge bracket and dented the front edge. Now I have a nice pushed in/bulged out dent on the front seam of the door. It looks like crap. That hinge bracket needs to be redesigned so it has more clearance. GRRRRRRRRRRRR!

Sorry to hear that. Check out www.clevelandZclub.com, they have some great members and I'm sure some great body shops to fix your door. You should join the club, $25 yr and some great shows. I just won 1st place in a show.

That happened to me with my old car.

It was extremely windy that day... 40+mph winds.

I opened the door, wind blew it all the way open, and it snapped the door pin.

Billz,

Already joined, they are right around the corner.

Djtonium,

Nothing broke, the strap that keeps the door from going forward flexes just enough for it to hit.

I'd take that to the dealer to see if it was warranty worthy. That shouldn't be possible with a well designed and adjusted door.

It may be the dent comes out with one of those paintless dent repair places. I've heard they can sometimes do wonderful things.

Call Nissan so that they can have an official complaint signed. This is the only way they will know to fix flaws
