Default help with a steering problem.

Hey you guys, i was involved in a side collision, and my front alignment and steering went all out. when the wheels were straight, the steering wheel was angled 30-45 degrees to right right. i got it all fixed, and just received it, but the steering is a lot loose, to the point where i feel as though i'm going to lose control. before the accident the steering was tight, and very very heavy. the steering is still responsive, but it feels like a luxury sedan's "smoothness" anybody know of a solution? could it be the belts? or ps fluid? please help. thanks!

Sorry to say this... sell the car.
If its allready having problems from an accident just sell it and get a new one. Problems will become more apperant over time. Wait a couple of months and get an '05.
Just my thoughts.

In lieu of selling the car, you should take it to Brown's and let them know that the steering feels uncomfortably different after the accident. The car is still under warranty, so they should check it out for you. I'll check the service manual and see if there are any standards for how much resistance the wheel should provide at a given speed. Give me a little while.

Since it was an accident, I assume one or more insurance companies are involved. Contact them as well as the shop performing the repairs.
