Default Hmmm. Heated Seat Problem.

I only tried my heated seats once before today since I bought it in May. This morning was kinda cool when I ran out to get some coffee. Since I was wearing shorts, and the seat was cool, I decided to turn the heaters on to see how they worked. I put my seat on high and it started to get warm right away. Well, I had to run into the house (left the car running) for a second and when I returned the heater switch light was on the "low" while the switch was still pushed on the "high" side. It now won't switch to high no matter what I try. BTW, I tested the passenger side and it's doing the same thing. Does this problem sound familar to anybody else? Bottom line....light stays on low no matter what position the switch is in.

There's only one light on the switch button. It indicates that the heated seats are on (either high or low).

Ah,yeah, I just seen that. Sometimes I can be pretty stupid. Just goes to show how much I use this option. Thanks for opening my eyes.

That's one of the things I hate about the Z....
I sometimes catch the driver side switch with my elbow and dont notice that the heat is on until my @ss and back starts sweating.

I will make a simple mod for this discomforting problem
Will post in the future....

ares, great thinking. How easy is this to do?

I always have my elbow resting over the switches and constantly turn on the heated seat accidentally. agree it is one of the more annoying features of an excellent car
