Wow! all the haters, I love it! The Vette has 18K miles the car also has a Jet stage 2 chip which was not mentioned earlier. And my "wanna be Z06" well it dynoed at 378WHP and 389 WTQ. As far as why I did not buy a Z06? Well I have already ordered a Magna Charger super charger, Centerforce clutch and Futral F4 Cam 226/226 .575/.575 LSA 112. So for 10k in additional mods to my "wanna be Z06" I expect to Dyno at well over 500 WHP. Where do you think your Z will be at or is with 10K in mods? Hey you asked for it and I gave it right back. And by the way the "wannabe" pulls a G real easy.
Your welcome for the side emblems, and thanks to most of you for the kind words, and for the rest of the haters, I won't feel bad about smoking you on the track or highway without even having to downshift.

I had 2002 Z06......it was monster in performance....but it wasn't fast enough to outrun all the rattles!!
There's something about a Vette though....I've owned several. I always get rid of them saying "Never again." But then along comes something like the new C6 (the 2006 Z06 to be exact), and I'm thinking, "Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm......"

I've had eight Corvettes, and the 2002 Z06 rattled worse than any car I've ever had.
The new car looks nice! I only have one problem with it.....
Not sure about your area but in Maryland No matter what time of year I will see at least 1 corvette in a 5 min drive!
There's about 15 houses on this street and the next out of the 15 I believe 6 of them have corvettes.
I don't think I could ever own a corvette just becuase of that reason.
I would went with a used NSX or Lotus before the vette but once again that is only becuase I can't stand how EVERYONE AND THEIR MOM has one.
Don't get me wrong it's a GREAT car but bah I don't want to walk out of the gym and have to figure out which corvette is mine.

Just kidding man! Well, about the corvette thing. Looks like a sweet ride...not my cup of tea. There's more to driving than having 1000hp...but if you're gonna go that road, there's no better car than a vette.
Personally I can't get over the "stigma" that goes with it.
Kinda like in the chic department....A Z is like fishing for Marlin, a vette is more like fishing for bass.
