I just picked up my new ride today after trading in my '03 Z. It was nice to meet all the people I have met on here and the Z community is awesome for sure.

I will miss my Z, I have put a lot of time and money into it but, this makes things a bit easier to get over it.

You traded it in for a Z06 wannabe? Dude, if you're going to trade your Z in for a vette, at least get a Z06.

 

Took the words right out of my MOUTH!...I can see having more problems with the vet than the Z. How many miles were on the Vet?

 

Good luck man. I have driven vette's (Even the z06) and i would never trade in the z for one. But thats my opinion. Its a nice car and you will have fun with it.

 

Nothing wrong with a base Corvette, it will still out-accelerate and out-handle our 350Z. 0-60 in 4.8 with the 6MT is nothing to sneeze at. I am sure if he had the extra money he would have bought a Z06, who wouldn't?

Best of luck. However, I must say that the Z is the better looking overall design.

 

Sorry, if I had enough money for a Z06, I would not be spending it on a bulky american car that looks like it came from the A-team/Miami Vice era.
